Your old pairs of specs can change lives by restoring sight and protecting eyes from the harmful rays of the sun, enabling people to learn, work and provide for their families.
We’re a UK-based charity and collect pre-loved specs and sunglasses, assess their strength, and send them out to carefully-selected community projects across southern and eastern Africa. Recipients’ lives are transformed.
We launched the charity in 2022 and now deliver between 5,000 and 10,000 pairs of specs and sunglasses each year - and that means a huge impact to so many lives in Kenya, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania and Malawi.
